SEO or search engine optimization is not an overnight strategy but a very worthwhile investment of your time and money. You will notice a difference quickly as far as getting more targeted visitors which may just show up as more sales.

SEO strategies are strategies that one continually works and not just a one time thing as it may do well for a while but will slowly drift down the rankings as others work their keywords and pass you in the search engines.

The good news is that search engine optimization doesn’t have to cost you, although paying for it or some training will put you ahead of most people. SEO your web pages and you will see your unique visitor count growing by the day.

Here Are A Few Good SEO Tips For Your Web Sites

1. Use Keyword in Your Web Site URL

I have a few blogs that I use very similar keywords for but they don’t all get the same amount of ranking or visitors. Those blogs I have that I purchased with keywords have far out performed the others. It was a great lesson to learn and you would be wise to learn this before you start blogging.

If you can’t get a domain with your keywords trying looking for the same thing using hyphens between your words. It’s better than not getting to use your keywords.

Example: Try for a keyworded domain name:

1. www.internetmarketingstrategies.com

2. www.internet-marketing-strategies.com

I always go for the #1 choice but will use hyphens as a last resort if it will get me keyworded domains.

2. Use Titles That Are Keyworded

If you are not including your keywords in your blog post titles you are missing out on postitive attention from the major search engines. They need those keywords to help establish just what your topic really is.

3. Use Heading To Talk To Search Engines

A blog heading is going to be a H1 or Heading 1 but you need to specify heading for the titles and headings within your post. I like to use H2 for the most important, after the title of course and then H3 for sub headings.

Be sure you use keywords in your titles that match the keywords you have in your title.

4. Use Those Keywords In Your Body Text

I have seen so many articles that have a great title as it using keywords and says what they topic is, but then the author falls short by drift around in the body text talking about things that match the title, plus they don’t bother using their keywords.

Be sure you use your keyword phrases, maybe two but no more than three keyword phrases. Use them at the beginning, the middle and the end of your post so the search engines know what you are talking about.

Don’t be afraid to use bold, italic and maybe even some underlining to point out those phrases.

5. A Pictures Is Worth A Thousand Words

Note: A search engine can’t see a picture but they can read the ALT text you can attach to an images so it’s important that you use both. The image for your readers and the ALT text for the search engines.

6. Increase Your PageRank With BackLinks

You can get a lot of attention with your words but if you want to get pagerank and really help your web site gain target traffic then you need to get people to link to your pages.

Another method and one I use every day I work is commenting on other niche related web sites. I also write unique articles and publish them on the top, high pagerank article directories.

7. Buying Ages Domains Is A Smart Move

Search engines, and when I say search engines I am really meaning Google, loves aged domains. So if you can get an aged domain that has your keywords in it you could be golden. It’s a great place to start before you ever type a word.

8. Update Your Blog Regularly

I have domains that get indexed in just a few hours and it’s because I write often to keep the search engines returning regularly.

Plus when I arrive at a blog and see that they haven’t updated for months I have a tendency to just leave the site. If they can’t be bothered updating they must have given up or just moved on to something else and they don’t care about their site.

9. Using Keyword Density As A Guide

I mentioned in an earlier point that keywords should be used at the beginning, middle and end of your blog posts but it is also smart to use a keyword density as a guide. I like to keep my keyword phrase density between 2 and 5 percent. That was it doesn’ t look like spam.

10. Synonyms And Associated Keywords

Use your main keyword phrases like I mentions but also get a few synonyms or related keyword phrases as that will get you a few more target visitors and increase your readership.

Target associated key terms as well. For example, web advertising and marketing hints, world-wide-web marketing and advertising techniques, net marketing trends.

In summary, utilize constant seo endeavours on the site and you’ll reap the long-term advantages. Always remain on best in the latest SEO link vine review trends since Yahoo will continually revise their search engine optimization algorithm.
