The first step when you want to create a blog is to find a good host. A host is someone that will allow you to use their web space to use for your blog. I know that with my own experience I would follow one path of advice for a little while only to find a dead end. Uhgg! Talk about frustration! So what I decided to do is to outline in just 6 simple steps how you can create a money-making ebook that really works.

Step 1: Choose Your Subject

Before you do anything you need to find a subject to write about. In order for your ebook to be popular it needs to be a subject that people are truly interested in. To find a good subject requires some research on your part. Amazon.com is a good place to start. I love giving money to charities but over the years we have not been as financially secure as we wanted to be and therefore we couldn’t give like we wanted to but with Squidoo that has become a reality once again. If there is one thing I have learned in my years of being online is that I don’t know the first thing about making a website. I have a few, and they look just fine, but there is more to it than that. It appears that no one can find my site because I have no idea how to make it searchable online to get more website traffic. I know how to make sure I have the right content, but there are other things that matter, and I have no idea how to do them. I have tried to search for help, but I just don’t have the time to go into it like I wish I did.

There is more to making a website if you want to get people to see it. It should always look great, and that has never been my problem. However, if you don’t have tags on the site correctly, the search engines tend to ignore it. Though I think this is probably not something that is very hard to do, I can’t seem to get the hang of it. I can’t even figure out how to make the title change on the page. Apparently, my title is not relevant to the page at all, and that is because it is the default set by a program. It says nothing about the contents of my page. My skills at making a website are null and void because if it.

I have said that website design is just to easy these days. Website design for free search engine traffic takes more than just making a website. Anyone who wants to go about making a website should make sure they know what they are doing, especially if you have a business and you need to get people there to make money. If you don’t know what you are doing, you may  just find yourself running in circles making no money online.

When I started my online business I was really nervous about affiliate marketing and avoided it for months. I didn’t have any logical reasons for fearing affiliate marketing but just hearing stories from other affiliates made me steer clear.

Anyone can achieve affiliate marketing success using affiliate programs, but the truth is not everyone manages to do it. The reasons for this failure to succeed varies but here are the top ten most common affiliate marketing mistakes. Take the time to study these mistakes so you don’t duplicate them.

1. Thinking others will click your affiliate links because they’re there.

Though an affiliate’s job is merely limited to pre-selling, pre-selling involves more than just displaying the affiliate links. It also entails encouraging people to click on them by enumerating the benefits that can be derived from the affiliate merchant’s products, giving favorable recommendations about the use of the same, and providing an encouraging offer that would entice readers to check out the package.

2. Believing there’s organic traffic but not understanding it.

Organic traffic, or traffic that is naturally generated by a website, is deceiving. There is no such thing, well not in the way some newbie affiliate marketers think! If you’re hosting your affiliate links in one website, you can’t expect people to find it just like that. You have to make them find it. This can be done through effective SEO techniques and efficient marketing strategies.

3. Thinking one marketing strategy is enough is all you need.

5. Continuing to use affiliate programs that don’t convert into sales.

Some affiliate programs may offer as much as a 95% commission per sale. But if the products are impossible to sell, you’d never realize the profit the program promises.

6. Not tracking down the affiliate programs with a proven track record.

The credibility of an enterprise depends on how people view it. If the affiliate program has established great relationships with the members of its target market, then it has established a brand which is recognizable for its excellent service. You’d have an easier time pre-selling such an affiliate program’s products.

7. Slacking off when it comes to the latest developments in your area of expertise.

There will come a time when the marketing knowledge we know would become obsolete, more so in the field of internet marketing where everything transpires at a rapid pace. You have to constantly update yourself with the newest trends, techniques and news in this field to always keep your competitive edge.

8. Knowledge is power but not if you don’t invest in it.

Knowledge likewise evolves and you have to evolve with it. Buy noteworthy eBooks, special reports and the likes… those which would teach you the latest tactics to help you conquer your field.

9. Assuming your job is done when you see your first glimpse of success.

Success is not eternal. You have to sustain it. If you leave your business alone once it shows the promise of success, you’re just setting it up for failure.

10. Convinced that affiliate marketing is your path to quick riches.

It is not. You have to invest a certain level of commitment, a lot of time, some financial resources on occasions, and a whole lot of effort if you want to truly realize the many wonderful things that this field does promise.

I have been very pleased with Article Underground and in one month of doing what Mike Liebner teaches and nothing else, so as to give Article Underground every opportunity to fail. I put no outside sources to work, just Article Underground Article Marketing And Traffic System.

The first thing I did when I became a member with AU was to watch the introduction videos and did what I was told I should do. Plan and simple. Do what other successful marketers are doing and stick to the recipe until you are sure you can successful complete the task which is get traffic and make money online. The first and most important step is to TAKE ACTION, JUST DO IT. To many new marketers tend to plan too long without creating content. So step number one is to START DOING IT TODAY.

I totally agree with taking action. Knowledge is power but you don’t activate the power without action.

I started with 5 sites as suggested by Mike but quickly moved it up to nine sites. I choice to start all my websites from scratch so I wiped them and installed WordPress blogs on them.

BTW: Only one of the sites was seeing any traffic and it was getting less than a thousand visitors a month. None of these domains earned any money to this point.

As a member of Article Underground I have 400 keyworded articles in numerous categories and themes so I have plenty of content to start building these sites. And build I did. I now have all nine sites online and linked around one main site.

As part of my AU membership I have access to more than 22 blogs to announce the articles I post on my blogs and I have access to other members blogs.

I am very pleased with the results to this point. My traffic has tripled this month and I have made a couple of sales for affiliate programs I am a member of.

I have not only put affiliate links on my pages to make money I have also joined Bidvertiser.com, which is an alternative to Google Adsense, and I make money that same as any one would with Adsense.

These articles are very keyword specific so they can do well in the search engine rankings. I also use Amazon to promote books on the topic of the articles. Just another stream of income.

Now for the kicker. Before I joined Article Underground I would write articles and buy private label rights articles and modify them to make them unique. This would take me forever to complete. Then the time it would take to get them published so I would have links back to my pages.

Well I figure if I were to convert my time to dollars I was spending a lot more than the membership fee at Article Underground and I have the time to work 9 sites where before I was having a hard time maintaining one site.
