You just found out that one of the affiliate programs you promote across your entire blog has disappeared and now you have to not only find but replace all the affiliate links for that program. It used to be a pain in the butt for me but not any longer.

Time is money and the more time it takes you to find those affiliate links that more money you are losing. Learning the smart way to have affiliate program links throughout your website will save you time. Time you could be putting to good use making more money online.

What do I use: Wordpress Affiliate Pro

Just this morning I replaced a couple of affiliate links site wide in just about 3 minutes and I also added 4 more affiliate links, based on keywords, throughout one of my blogs and that only took a few minutes and I was done.

What is my secret to being so fast and efficient, well it’s not me personally that speeded up. It was my new Wordpress Affiliate Pro plugin that gives me back some of my blogging time and always remember time is money and your time is worth more than you might think.

Do You Have Super Affiliates?

In researching affiliate marketing, you have probably come across the term “super affiliate.” Many affiliate managers spend a lot of time trying to recruit Super Affiliates and for good reason. A super affiliate can turn just about any affiliate program into a success.

Super Affiliate Make The Sales That Make Them Super

A super affiliate, simply put, is someone who can generate a lot of sales. Some people feel that an affiliate needs to make a certain dollar amount in sales before they are considered “super.” It is hard to define this term in dollar amounts as different programs have different amounts as well as different types of programs. Not only that, but program owners have different definitions of success in their particular affiliate program compared to others.

Finding Super Affiliates is easier than most think

In fact, you may already know of several yourself. Super Affiliates tend to have large sites, large newsletter lists, and a nice amount of influence over their target markets. It doesn’t take much thinking to know at least one affiliate who fits these definitions.

If however, it comes a bit more difficult in a particular market, it’s easy to find a few of them. Simply research a bit. Google can really help with this; just type in keyword or phrase that relates to the product or target market in question. For example, if you are selling an information product on natural remedies, type in such phrases as “natural remedies, “natural cures,” and “homeopathic medicine.”

Take note of the websites that are coming up in your search results. If the same site is coming up over and over, it is probably very popular. Even if different sites are coming up, click on them, and take a look around. Look for signs of affiliate activity, such as ads, reviews, and affiliate links.

Once you have located some affiliates that seem a good fit for your particular program it is time to start the recruiting process. Take note that these people are receiving offers from many other affiliate managers. If you want them to promote your product, you’ll need to make it worth their time.

Offer Super Products To Attract Super Affiliates

First of all, make sure your product is something that their target market would honestly want or need. When you make your initial contact with the affiliate, make it personable. Instead of sending a standard form letter, take the time to send a personalized note. Try to keep that first email short and sweet, though, as the affiliate doesn’t have time to read anything super long.

When promoting a digital product, send a sample along with the introductory email. The affiliate will want to try it out before they promote it to their readers. If you have a physical product, offer to send a sample in the mail. This will help to determine if the product is a good fit for their visitors.

Entice the super affiliate by offering them something more than standard affiliates receive, such as extra commission or cash bonuses. For example, if you normally pay 50% commissions, offer 60% or 70% to the super affiliate. The amount of sales they can bring you will more than make up for any extra commissions you give them. Another option is to offer them a second tier percentage, where they receive a commission for referring other affiliates to the program.

It can take time to build up a relationship with a super affiliate and get them involved in a program. It may take time to find them, but keep trying. Eventually you will recruit a super affiliate and maybe more!

Following webhosting reviews is usually fructiferous. This is because not every host is suitable to provide shared web hosting. One should know the tactics to domain name registration suited to whatever mode of affiliate marketing he is going to follow. An affiliate member program needs certain prerequisites. Knowing how to buy web domain is one of those requisites.

Why Reviews Are a Great Affiliate Tool

As an affiliate manager, there are many different choices when it comes to giving affiliates items for promoting your products and services.  In the past, you may have posted graphic or text ads on your website or blog for affiliates to use; or perhaps even crafted an email ad for affiliates to send to their mailing list.  Those are great ways to drive traffic.  Another way is with product reviews.

Writing product reviews works great for affiliate sales for many reasons. First of all, website visitors on a regular basis trust the affiliate’s opinions and advice.  Those reading the reviews have come to know, trust and see the affiliate as an expert in their field, therefore, when they are recommended a product or service from them, they tend to listen.

Secondly, reviews add a personal touch to a website.  Most reviews will list the reviewers’ name as well as the location they live in.  Your reader will think “Wow, this is a real person, just like me.  They used this product and these are the results they got.” This makes the reader more open to trying the product.

When you a standard ad is placed in front of readers, they may be a bit skeptical.  They know that the company wrote the ad, so of course the company will say great things about the product.  When they see a great review coming from a real person, the reader takes that as a solid recommendation.

When writing a review, the first part, also known as the preamble, should contain the name and location of the reviewer, the name of the product, the price of the product, and a location to buy the product.  That is where you can include your affiliate link.

The next section should contain the product description.  Let the reader know what the product consists of, such as an ebook, a special report, a piece of software, a membership site, etc. Don’t forget to include details of how the product will be delivered, as some products can be downloaded directly and some are shipped in the mail.  Also take the time to list some features and benefits of the product.

Once that portion is complete, it’s time to write about the product’s performance.  How did the product hold up to the company’s claims?  Did it perform to expectations or were you dissatisfied?  End your review with a brief summary, letting the reader know in a couple sentences if the product was worth the money, and would be one they would to a friend.

When writing reviews, it is important to keep things very honest.  If a product performed wonderfully, let the reader know.  If you were dissatisfied on a few features, let them know.  Sometimes, a reader will decide to try the product anyway.

Reviews definitely add a lot to affiliate promotions and they can boost your affiliate sales as well.  If you don’t have time to write them yourself, you can find some through private label rights packages, or you can ask your readers to send in some of their own.

Don’t forget to send a few of your Super Affiliates the product for a review as well.  If you plan to make it available to other affiliates, make that known up front too.
