What is ClickBank?
ClickBank is the leading and largest retailer of digital products with more than 100,000 affiliates and 10,000 products you can earn commissions with.

With clickbank you can list your digital product and soon have new affiliates promoting it for you online. If you’re an affiliate you can also sign up through ClickBank and find great products to promote and earn commissions from.

As I just said ClickBank has a large number of affiliates that will help you find customers for your digital products. This helps me a lot because I don’t have to spend as much time recruiting affiliates each week. Yes, I still recruit because there are more targeted website owners out there who I would love to have as affiliates, but this way I still have people promoting my products so if I miss a week of recruiting it’s ok, I’m still getting people signing up. I was very impressed at how fast affiliates started not only signing up for my program but also promoting it.

Note: If you decide to sell your own digital product be sure it is worth your customer’s time and money or you will just get requests for refunds. That sorta takes away from the excitement of making money online when you have to give it all back to unhappy customers.

The account set up was simple and fast. Best of all it’s free. When starting my business I felt like everybody wanted money I hadn’t even earned yet. ClickBank offered me a great service and it was free. I couldn’t beat that.

ClickBank also has great customer service.

Anytime I have a problem all I have to do is contact them. They get back to me right away and help me with my worries and concerns.

Another thing I really like about ClickBank is their stats program.

Within a matter of a few minutes after a sale my stats are updated. I can keep track of how much and what I am selling at any given time. Plus I can print a sales report just like that. No worries. That’s what makes ClickBank such a great place to go for all your digital product sales needs.

ClickBank only allows you to list digital products so if your business is physical products, you can’t use the service.

I just got an email about Ellie Drake’s and Mike Filsaime’s Free Report called – “The Death of NetworkMarketing” I will admit, like you may also be feeling now, that I thought it was some hyped up offer to get me to buy something…

…Turns out I was wrong. Way wrong.

The bottom line is, this report really opened my eyes that Network Marketing may be dying.

When I read this, I immediately thought of sharing it on my blog. The times are changing for us and it would be a shame for you or anyone to not read this report and fail like many will.

I read it, and I wanted to share it with you ASAP.

I recommend you take a break from whatever it is you are doing if you can and get access to this report now.

Consider your future success by going here now and reading more about ‘The Death of Network Marketing‘.

Thanks,

James

PS – Mike and Ellie say it will only be available for a few days or so, so do not delay…

Click here to get Post Launch ProfitsYour first step is to be prepared and willing to put some effort into your info product. Following a specific winning system will make the ride a whole lot smoother and who likes speed bumps when you’re on a roll.

For real success you must set achievable goals, but that still isn’t enough unless you stick to them like the proverbial glue. I have had times that I just sort of followed a general plan but without setting goals and soon found myself spinning in circles and a bit overwhelmed.

So if you don’t have a plan to follow use our Post Launch Profits but stick with it by setting daily actions that will get you from start to success in the shortest amount of time.

Never forget your goal is your end target and that you can achieve it.

Think Beyond One Sale, Think Joint Ventures

One of the main pieces of advice that took a while to sink in was not to aim for one sale at a time. The energy you use to get one sale, done correctly, can be redirected into finding a joint venture that will give you multiple sales for that same amount of work.

Spend the majority of your days trying to find joint venture partners for your product instead of places you can put ads that attract one or two sales. The same principle applies when finding affiliates for your product. Yes you must have an affiliate program because if you don’t you are leaving a whole lot of cash on the table.

Although some additional marketing presence can be achieved by writing articles, having a signature on your email or forum posts and creating press releases so don?t desert this route altogether. These particular methods might even attract joint venture partners and relationships that can be developed.

Another great thing to try is find a mentor. It is one of the best things you can do to help yourself, as they will guide you and give you impartial advice in every type of business decision you have. They can fast track you to success without the steep learning curve.

Remember mentors have mentors too, so that you can get a whole wealth of information filtered right through from the biggest Internet Gurus down to new people coming onto the Internet fold,

Lastly a great that tip that will serve you well is treat your website like a business not a hobby, as investments in things like decent sales copy will have a massive impact on overall sales. If you don?t have the kind of money available to buy this, you could offer your time, services, and products as payment for it.

As with anything in life, if you don?t try, you won?t get what you want. Never stop trying and that success will be within your grasp very soon.

Every now and again an ebook will appear on your computer screen and make it crystal clear what you need to do to be successful. It?s not very often that they are free and contain this invaluable information but you can find such an ebook here: Post Launch Profits

Wordpress Plugins I Am Currently Using

I started blogging using Blogger.com but I am so glad I eventually decided to switch to Wordpress. I just love Wordpress plugins, they give me so many options for making a better blog.

I would like to tell you about a few of the plugins I use across my blogs.

Ad Rotator Plugin

I decided to move away from adsense style ads from Bidvertiser and even the inline ads from Kontera because I would rather promote or present affiliate ads that make me dollars instead of pennies. I replaced ads in that part of my virtual real estate with an Ad Rotator plugin.

I just setup a text file, put all the affiliate banner links I want for this blog, and then upload them to my wp-content folder.

I then place the ad rotator code where I want the banners to appear and each time the page is loaded or refreshed my banner ads show up. Pretty easy to install and updating the text file is a breeze.

Akismet Plugin

The Akismet plugin helps me control the comment spam so spammers are just wasting their time without getting any recognition at all. This plugin was already installed when I installed Wordpress but it needed to be activated and I also added my Wordpress API code and the rest is pretty automatic.

All-In-One-SEO-Pack Plugin

The All-In-One-SEO pack helps to make my blog more search engine friendly by letting me control what text and keywords are used in the post title, description and keywords.

Wordpress Affiliate Pro

This wordpress plugin has to be my favorite. Wordpress Affiliate Pro lets me link to keyword phrases throughout my blogs using my affiliate program links. I can even specify how many times the plugin will link per post, so as to not UGLIFY your blog with too many links.

If you do any affiliate marketing this is definitely the plugin to check out.

WP Amazon Plugin

I don’t make a lot of money online with this plugin but it’s very convenient and lets me link to related books on Amazon and link them within my posts. Very easy to use but it does require that you have an Amazon ID.

DoFollow Plugin

I now use DoFollow on my blogs so that I can share the link love.

CommentLuv Plugin

I noticed that a few blogs had added the CommentLuv plugin. This plugin shows the latest post from the URL field when you leave a comment. It made me happy to see my link there so I am sure it will make other happy to see their link here.

A Few Do’s & Don’t For When You Create a Blog

There are a few things that I have learned through study or by trial and error but they are things that you need to know when you create a blog or you’re building your website.

  • don’t make your website or blog blink, flash, dance or jump. I have a hard time reading a website that has things moving around. It’s very distracting and if it has no real purpose it’s just annoying and I will quite often just leave the site and look elsewhere.
  • use simple design and easy to read text with pleasant color schemes. I personally have made some pretty ugly websites but after a few days of looking at them I realized what a mess I created and tried to do better. I see so many sites that have really bad color schemes which tend to make my eyes strain to read the screen. Don’t do this unless you have a good reason. Just because you like it doesn’t make it a good reason. :)
  • choose complimentary colors, if you need help try a color scheme program (free ones like www.colorschemer.com/online.html)
  • use graphics when necessary to show product, highlight features, or show examples, but don’t over use them
  • use the right font sizes for your page, people will skip over things that are too small or too big, use average font counts.
  • don’t know html or fancy coding languages? Try a program like XSitePro with WYSIWYG editing for point, click, drag and drop editing. Investing in your website design is a good move, especially if you want to make money online.
  • Try using WordPress to create a blog, it can be your main site’s functioning engine. Wordpress is not just for blogs as you can set a static front page with it and easily add content and additional pages.
  • choose a shopping cart ahead of time if you need one. I have been using Paypal for years because it offers easy to use and manage options.
  • make pages easily accessible by readers through navigation, either on a sidebar or top menu, no more than two clicks to get to a location is a pretty standard measurement.
  • use a text based menu instead of a graphic based one for better seo results in the future.

Cheap Website Traffic

Online companies know that without traffic to their site, they go broke, quickly.  There are many ways to get cheap website traffic.

Pay per click advertising

- where you pay per click through to your site, but you do not know if the customer is going to purchase your product, so you do lose some money with that.

Request links from other relevant, high traffic sites

Links to other well established sites is like personal recommendations, where you establish credibility fast, which increases the chances that they will buy your product.

You must be persistent enough with some sites, though.  You want to download the alexa toolbar, which gives you information about a website, such as traffic rating, ranking, contact info, site stats, related links, etc.

Free advertising

- by giving away free expert content to relevant sites itching for some new, fresh content.  Web site owners are always looking for fresh content.  Make sure you write a bit about the author and your web site or product.  As long as it is not competing with theirs, they will not mind. You can post on these sites:

www.ezinearticles.com (my favorite by far)
www.freesticky.com
www.ideamarketers.com

News Groups & Forums

You can become an active expert in a newsgroup that is industry related.  A newsgroup is an online forum where people share information and common interests.  When you post, you are literally talking to your potential customers.  These people do not want to be sold something; they want information from gurus, about the topic they are interested in.

Learn the importance of forums and like minded people for getting cheap website traffic.

Make sure you have a sig file, or signature and start establishing relationships and prove your expertise.  Stay with newsgroups that do not accept advertisements.  This is also a great way to gather feedback from your website, straight from the horses’ mouth.  You can reinvent it if you need to and fix it accordingly.  When you post informative articles, people will begin to look forward to your posts, and eventually you may want to direct these people to your brand new newsletter.
