Are you a bit like me and love watching videos far more than reading?

I find that when someone shows me something my brain just picks it up a whole lot faster than it does when I read those same instructions. I end up reading the same stuff over and over until it gets through my rather thick skull.

Being a bit of a pokey reader is probably why I like YouTube so much. It seems like the content is almost limitless. It doesn’t matter what I am looking for I seem to be able to find a video that meets my needs.

My new friend Collin, owner of FeedFlare.ca has been putting out videos and I am learning a lot from his learning about videos. I also follow Mark, owner of 45n5.com along with Ed Dale who I met through the Thrity Day Challange a few months ago.

These three guys have videos for me almost every day teaching me things that will make me a better marketer, when I apply what I learn from them.

I started a new blog which will be my video blog, although I will post videos here as well. My new blog, MakeMoneyVideoBlogging.com will be where I put my favorite videos from my favorite bloggers.

The site isn’t setup yet but over the next few days and weeks it will start to look more like a video blog.

Watch Movies and Make Money?

In a previous post I talked a little bit about Micro Niche Finder, the cool tool that let’s you find the highest converting traffic for the least amount of money (or for free.)

But I didn’t think of telling you about the movies. Guess I should have, since they answer many of the questions I’ve received…

Question #1. How does Micro Niche Finder locate the best keyword phrases for me?

Answer. When you type in a search term, Micro Niche Finder is going to find all of the related terms and display those, along with the number of times they’re searched for, and the number of sites that appear in the results pages for those terms.

Thus you can instantly see the terms with high numbers of searches and low competition.

Follow this link to see a Micro Niche Finder video of this…

…and click on the video link inside the box that says…

Profit Stream #1, “Create Simple Little One Page Articles to Promote Affiliate Products that Pay You Commissions”

Question #2. How does Micro Niche Finder create Adsense pages for me?

Answer. Amazingly, with very little work on your part! Go to Micro Niche Finder’s site again…

…and click on the video link in the box that says…

Profit Stream #2, “Create Adsense Content Pages that Pay You Residual Ad Revenue”

You’ll be blown away by what you see.

And just imagine if you had a few hundred of these pages up, paying you month after month.

Whew. Makes me dizzy just thinking about it.

Queston #3. Tell me another way I can make money with Micro Niche Finder.

Answer. Okay, you know those private label rights packages and memberships you see? You can create your own to sell to other marketers.

To see a video on how to do this, go to Micro Niche Finder

…and click on the video link in the box that says…

Profit Stream #3, “Create Niche Market Private Label Rights Packages and Sell These for a Quick Profit.”

If you create a package of articles to sell at $27, $37 or $47, and you sell a hundred or two hundred copies, well, you do the math.

It’s definitely profitable, and you could do it every month.

Question #4. Are there more ways to make money?

Answer. Definitely. Go to Micro Niche Finder

…and watch the other two movies I haven’t even mentioned.

Bottom line, regardless of how you’re making money online, with Micro Niche Finder you’ll have access to the exact information you need to bring highly targeted traffic to your site(s) at the lowest possible cost.

Plus, with Micro Niche Finder you can add numerous additional income streams to your money-making arsenal.

How to Make Money at Home

It’s sad but most of my friends live pay check to pay check just like I did for so many years. When we get together there is always a bit of talk about work and it almost always comes down to asking me how I make money online. The thing is they want to know how to make money at home but they don’t want to put in the time to learn how I do it.

When I started my online business I was broke and had just quit my job. If it wasn’t for my wife’s income I would have needed to get out of the house and get another job but getting another job was a problem. I have skills that are always in demand. The point was, I was so sick of working for others and being paid less than I am worth that I swore never to work for others again. Well that thinking made my first couple of years online rather painful.

So I suggest you don’t quit your day job and please trust me, this is good advice.

Would you like to learn how to make money at home?

I found that having yard sales was a good way to make money at home. As a computer instructor I was always buying products and books so that I kept my skills up-to-date. The thing I didn’t like about yard sales is the pennies you make. It would have been nice to be able to sell these items at better prices but people would just walk away.

In 2003 my yard sale days changed for ever when I was introduced to eBay, the worlds largest online auction.

How to Make Money at Home Selling on eBay

One persons junk is another’s treasure is so true on eBay.

My eBay life started by going through the closets, basement and garage looking through the boxes we had not bothered to unpack since we moved into our house, over a year ago. These boxes contained a lot of nick-nacks that relatives had given us over the years we have been married. I am sure you have a bunch as well.

These items were not junk or broken, just things that didn’t fit us so we hid them away like our wedding pictures. I don’t do so well infront of a camera so those pictures are kinda scary.

BTW: I didn’t try to sell our wedding pictures, they are still well hidden.

I checked with my beautiful wife so that I wouldn’t be selling anything she still treasured. I wouldn’t want to be sleeping in the dog house again.

I put my first item up on eBay and it sold for a lot more than I expected. I am sure I got 5 or 6 times what we would have made selling that same item at one of our yard sales and I didn’t have to sit outside watching people pick through our stuff.

I made boxes for the items using an exact-o-knife and the boxes we used to move. I made sure I packed each item so that it wouldn’t get damaged and returned. It worked for me as I had zero returns.

Now we stop at yard sales to see what we can get for nothing and then sell on eBay. It’s fun and can become quite addictive.

NOTE: I have a Paypal account so that I get paid right away. When I first started I got a lot of checks, Paypal is just so much quicker.

So if you want to learn how to make money at home then selling on eBay and getting rid of stuff you will never use is a great way to start.

NOTE: It’s early spring here as I finish this post and that means garage and yard sales. Take the time to visit a few looking for things that people are basically giving away and buy them if you think you can get a fair price on eBay. If you know a deal when you see it buy it and stock up. Then have some fun selling it all on Ebay.

I love Build a Niche Store – BANS, but I am sure I have already said that a few times.

The BANS affiliate program was managed through Commission Junction and I was also very happy. Why was I so happy, well because it worked and I was making money online with a few hobby BANS sites.

Then came the email, part way through March, telling me eBay Affiliate Partner program was taking over. All I could think about was what could go wrong with this. You know what THEY say…

‘if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it’

The ability to earn commission selling stuff on eBay that isn’t even my stuff rocks and was just too good to pass up. Definitely a great way to make money online using a method that’s about as easy as it gets.

Well part way through March I received a couple of emails letting me know that the I had from April 1st to May 1st go update my BANS sites. I was hoping it would be a smooth transition but it seldom is.

I was pretty excited but then I saw a few posts about how it wasn’t working the way it should and how modifying php files in the previous updates could cause problems. The code that was used to update special features would have to be updated separately.

I waited for two weeks hoping that it would be fixed and made trouble free. This morning I got a reminder notice from the eBay affiliate partner program. I have just two weeks left to make the updates and after that I would be getting paid.

I decided today was the day to go through the updates. I only have four sites at this point. I didn’t want to create more sites that I may just have to redo so I held off creating any new BANS sites.

I took the BANS site I cared about the least and started with that one. It’s a site that isn’t one of my hobbies but it is one that I was showing a friend because he and his girlfriend are fanatical about their hobby, like I am about my hobbies.

First I did a site backup.

It took me about a minute maybe two to upload the new files and overwrite the old ones.

I then ran the update file and then sat there with my fingers crossed and one eye closed whispering ‘Please work’.

A message popped up on the screen saying the update was successful and that I should delete the update.php file.

My other three sites were all completed and I started writing this new post in less than a half hour.

Now I will sit back over the next couple of days and see how it works.

I am curious about the reporting capabilitites as Commission Junction didn’t seem to make it easy to find detailed info about the clicks I was getting.

So far I am happy with the updates and have not seen any errors or problems.

If you have been hesitating about Build a Niche Store then it’s time for you to take that leap of faith and start earning some commissions.
