Rob Benwell is perhaps the most successful blogger on the internet today.  The proof is that Blogging to the Bank is up to it’s 3rd version in only two years.  Rob really does update his information to ensure his customers are getting the latest techniques to make money online.

The great aspect of Blogging to the Bank is that it is for everyone.  If you already have blogs that are struggling to earn even a few dollars a month, or if you are just starting out you can pick up Rob Benwell’s program and fast track your way to generating traffic and income.

The guide contains the most comprehensive methods to generate targeted traffic to your blog.  But that is just the start Rob goes through the complete road map and calls it “The BluePrint of a Blogging Millionaire.”

Perhaps the best aspect I liked about this guide is that Rob not only shows you how to make ongoing money with a blog, but importantly shows you once you have a successful blog up and running that you also have the option to SELL the blog for six figures or more!  A lot of other guides I have reviewed missed this aspect.

Selling your blog is a fantastic way to make money.  Some people do not always like the aspect of having to constantly update their blog sites.  But are experts in setting up blogs to ensure maximum revenue and traffic. While not comprehensive, Blogging to the Bank does have specific detal about the little known technique of 'site flipping'.

Think of it as building a basic a house and reselling.  You create the site and sell it for huge profits.  You can even purchase other people's blogs that have done a poor job, fix them with the techniques you learn in this guide and re-sell for massive profits!  You need to think of you blog as an online asset.

Another aspect that is missed by blogging guides is the importance of email list building.  Most guides fail to understand why list building is still a key aspect to make money EVEN when you have a blog.Do not assume like most people that having a blog with an RSS feed that you do not need an opt-in strategy.  Blogging to the Bank goes into detail as to why this is important and a key source of your income.

What about if you do not have a blog and don’t know where to get started?  Don't worry, Blogging to the Bank really caters to the novice with specific strategies on selecting the correct niche that will ensure you can make money.  It is important however to understand that you need a niche that YOU are interested in.  I think that is one aspect Rob misses in this guide.

If you have no interest in the niche that you are blogging about it is going to eventually turn into a grind and this will come across in the content that you produce.  This aspect of blogging can be a whole topic in itself, perhaps Rob will update it in Blogging to the Bank 4!  It is important to have a passion about your blogs topic.  As someone that has followed Rob Benwell's techniques, where I have had a personal interest in that niche my income has been 2-3 times greater.  Simply because I did more, created more content, worked harder to get traffic and generally enjoyed blogging more.

Result, I got greater rewards.  It is not just about selecting profitable niches.  The key is a niche that is profitable AND you have an interest in.

For people that are also new, or even for those that already have blogs, Rob goes into specific SEO (Search Engine Optimization) techniques to generate traffic and ensure you have high rankings in search engines.  Updated for version 3, Rob explores specific Web 2.0 traffic generating techniques.Article marketing was still the main method of traffic generation and I had not really considered social bookmarking and social sites.

Rob opened my eyes and to what I was missing out on.  Think more then MySpace or Facebook here.I cam across sites that I had not heard of before, these sites assisted in generating lots of visitors to my blog sites and I have also implemented these methods to many other non-blog sites.

The basics of creating your blog.  While this seems like a trivial point, it is perhaps one of the keys to ensuring your success.  Sites such as Blogger and Typepad are great platforms and allow novice users that simply want a personal blog to get up and running very quickly.

But if you want to make money blogging, Rob goes into the specifics why owning your blog with your OWN domain name is a key to success.  Rob even walks through the basics of how to register a domain and select a host provider. It is not as hard as you think and only takes a few minutes to set-up.

These are the main points that I personally appreciated from Blogging to the Bank, Rob Benwell is thanked on a daily basis for the assistance and techniques he teaches people on how to make money online.  If this is something you have struggled with or are looking to start a blog then Blogging to the Bank is a complete comprehensive guide.

If you should consider the fact that there are competitors around every corner waiting to trip you up, it becomes even more backbreaking. The immeasurableness of Cyberspace, not to mention the Affiliate Marketers arena, has given birth to money hungry competition between Internet marketers, each of whom has their own bag of goods to push. With all the web sites climbing over each other, how is one suppose to acquire the right type of traffic? Here are seven best ways to drive laser-targeted Cyber shoppers to your own Internet page. Following the advice below will help herd Online users to your web site if you stick with them and integrate them into your business plan of action.

The first thing to do in getting Online shoppers to your website is by relying on search engines and what they can do for the Online entrepreneurs sales. Because they are popular for driving free targeted Web users, they should not be ignored by any means. In fact, targeted Online users are known to convert better than any other type of Online users. Having top SEO placement is all-important in creating a hands off income generator, and the use of the proper keywords is mandatory in attaining this goal. Once a Internet site is on top of the search engine pages, it is easily found by anyone who is using your keywords to locate a service.

The second plan of action in bringing in Web users to your website is by contacting other webmasters for a possible link exchange partnership. Locating Cyber page that are related to your own page in Cyberspace is the primary task. Once there, you should be able to establish communication by personalizingan email to the Webmaster. If the other Webmaster agrees on trading links, it is then possible to make reciprocal link exchanges that will benefit both web pages.

The third plan of action in bringing in Online shoppers to your blog is article submissions. This is an effective way in promoting your website, and to create profitable hyperlinks to your site. Article marketing is used by some of the most successful Affiliate Marketers on the Internet. This alone should be enough reason you should also be using article submission sites if you’re serious about making money on the Net.

The 4th thing is accomplished by joint venture marketing. JV marketing is but one of the most effective ways of promoting a product or a service. Having a JV partner through ad swap or link exchanges profits both Internet Marketers as it allows them to reach a wide customer base in a short time frame.

The fifth plan of action is is done by joining affiliate program networks. Using Marketers to do the work means allowing them to bring loads of Web users to a website. Increasing sales can be realized as a result, and each of the Marketers and the page in Cyberspace owner will benefit from the opportunity.

The 6th thing is through having an email list of subscribers that one can refer to every so often, because they may have purchased a product or service off of you before, they are more likely to trust your recommendations over someone they don’t know. Using autoresponders and personalized newsletters is one way of keeping track of them all, and holding on to them by letting them be conversant about new products and services is an essential adventure that should be done by the Internet entrepreneur.

The seventh thing to do is through knowing your market through and through. It is prime for traffic to be targeted to those who might have a special interest in the products or services that your website recommends. When you do this, a solid customer base is going to be made. Once a potential customer shows an interest in a particular page on the Internet by paying it a visit, you should take every opportunity to make sure their visit is valuable to them. By doing this they are more likely to return to your page in Cyberspace, thus trusting you more and more.

Profit generating routines are indispensible in trying to make your Affiliate Marketing career enjoyable. It’s always in your best interest to plan your moves in any business and lay out a roadmap so that you can duplicate your success everytime you implement your system. This is particularly so in affiliate marketing. If you know how to convince Internet users to see your sales page, then you’re on the right path to making more money than you thought possible.

Write An eBook In One Day And Start Earning

Sony e-book readerImage by A Hermida via FlickrAfter 20 years as a computer instructor writing most of my own teaching material I didn’t have a great urge to keep writing once I quit my day job and started working from home. I haven’t written since about 2001.

As a computer instructor it was part of my job description to write class materials and time was alloted for that, however, now that I work from home time is much harder to find for somethings.

Well I decided it’s time to write an eBook so I spent some time online looking for others that talk about creating an eBook. I could use the help getting it started in the most efficient way so as not to waste my time or my readers time.

One of the first blogs I found while searching Google for info was an article by The University Kid, Ryan had an article, How To Write An eBook In A Day. That was at 5am this morning and it still got me motivated.

Ryan hit on a few points that have held me back. Things I will do my best to over come immediately.

Number One on the list of things to overcome: Distractions are by far my biggest problem being how easily I am distracted and my office is in my home so I get interrupted continually. Family meeting tonight!!

I have a few hobbies that I make money with online but I haven’t even tried to write an ebook on any of those hobbies. The time is now while it’s still winter because when the good weather comes I like to enjoy my hobbies more than just write about them.

If you are interested in how to write an ebook in one day you should start by reading Ryan’s article. Then get your butt in that chair until your done.

How To Boost Web Traffic

Almost certainly the most crucial question on webmasters minds is: how do I get more web site traffic? It is possible to rapidly get web site traffic rank by opting for paid ads but this can become very expensive for most website owners. Consequently, we are going to look at some free methods to get targeted website hits

Digging To Get Traffic To Your Website

Digg is a tremendous bookmarking site for you to add snippets from your article post. It does not take much time to show up on Digg’s top-ranking pages, once more making for possible progress to your web site traffic.

Cash In On Your Email List To Increase Traffic To Any Website

What, you don’t have a email list still? Shockingly lots of people on the web don’t have their own email list. The ideal thing about email lists is you can pre-set a sequence of follow-up responses, or you can transmit a bulletin at any time encouraging your readers to come back to your website for the latest update or piece of advice and presto, an instant boost to your site traffic.

Joint Venturing To Get Better Web Site Traffic Rankings

Taking part in a joint venture can significantly boost your web site traffic in no time flat. If you receive a broadcast from another list owner which has a harmonizing service to yours, then why not see if you can offer them something of value to them to offer their readers in return. This might be a discounted service where you can offer a portion of the profits with the JV partner. Suppose your JV partner has hundreds of readers on their email lists – this would make for an ideal approach to get top web traffic ranking.

As one can imagine from the ways earlier, sourcing way to get traffic to my web site is not that difficult, but a little bit of determined effort is essential.

tiny-tip-tuesdayThe “Lock It In” Strategy

The “lock in your one time price now and avoid any monthly fee…” strategy tells your prospects that if they purchase your product now, they will avoid paying an ongoing fee to use it in the future. If they are remotely interested in your product, they’ll likely buy it right away because most people hate reoccurring fees. You could even give them a date when you will switch over your product to a subscription product.

I like this tip as it has saved me money on products. It has also saved me many times from paying a higher price when it goes up.

Niche Blueprint Review

Coming soon on January 12th is the Niche Blueprint.

the product itself will only be available for one week, and will be removed from the market place after that period, to prevent the market from being flooded. See niche blueprint review.

Steve Clayton (one of the authors) is very proud and and noticeably excited about the project.

He now has to stick to his word after telling his father he is going to quit his successful career in corporate America, to pursue his interest in Internet marketing. This would be difficult, as giving up a secure job can be very risky. Then again, what defines a job as insecure? And will you rather do work for someone else all this you your own path.

In a previous world, the sole aim of many was to secure a job with a stable company, gained a decent salary and enjoy the health benefits and perks from this kind of work.

But this kind of lifestyle is slowly being removed, being secured indefinitely in a job just isn’t possible anymore.

Building your own online business! There are many challenges…

When you have the idea of making money online, and start to dig deeper, you begin to realize that you’re going to need a list to really make money, or be a great copywriter, or the best web designer, or to be an expert at adwords (and, of course, find the money to fund the adwords expenditure).

And the best way to become good at AdWords campaigns is to run a lot of them, and as you know, that can become very expensive…

Let’s say you give AdWords a miss, and try and concentrate on SEO. But what on earth it SEO?

Article marketing is a power way to get traffic to your web pages and that can mean you make more money in your online marketing business.

My goal is to continue to earn a living on the internet so I look for ways that do the job but don’t take up all my time. After all if it’s ‘All work and no joy, this marketing would be one sad boy’.

If you want to increase your traffic and see your web site grow sit down and start writing content but don’t put it all on your blog or web site. Instead focus on article marketing directories like EzineArticles.com, my favorite and a few of the other top sites.

Here is a short list of article marketing sites, their Alexa Ranking and PageRank at the time of this writing.

1. EzineArticles.com – 254 – 6
2. ArticlesBase.com – 1,759 – 5
3. GoArticles.com – 21,336 – 6
4. ArticleDashboard.com – 26,600 – 5

What I do personally when writing articles.

First I write the post or article I want for the blog I am focusing on at the moment. Once I am happy with the content I start to rewrite that article into however many articles I want to publish.

So if I decide I want to point to my new post from the four article directories I listed above I will need to have 5 articles. These articles have to be unique so I modify them at least 30% or more.

I have found EzineArticles to be my best place to publish so I make sure I get any of my articles published there first. They seem to be the most strict when it comes to any duplicated content.

Even though I re-write my articles I publish to EA first, once it’s accepted I seem to be able to post on the others without a problem.

If you are article marketing but not using article directories you are missing an opportunity for one way backlinks to your pages, not to mention the traffic you can gain as well.

Dropping A Few Categories To Stay on Topic.

Since I started to blog my goal has been to help people and share what I have learned but as nice as I am I still focus on making money online. Without that I would be back building web sites or working for someone else again. But it takes focus and that is one thing that keeps slipping away if I don’t pay attention.

Back in Sept. 2007 I wrote an article about staying on topic with your blog in order to have a better blog. Well it’s been over a year and I see that I have drifted off topic many times in that year. 2009 is the year of foucs for me so there are going to be some changes around here and on my other blogs as well.

I decided it was time to clean up a little, I am far from done but I am at least getting started. I have removed a few categories that should have been discussed elsewhere anyways and I still have a number to remove but it’s taking a bit of time to go through the posts to be sure I have them tagged correctly or removed.

I still want to share what’s on my mind but I felt it was better to just create a blog for that and keep this blog a little more focused.

I did a similar thing with my first fishing site because I was getting way off topic. Now I have 4 fishing sites, after breaking my first site into a few parts to stay more focused and guess what.

I started getting more traffic to the first site and was earning more, now I have all of them earning instead of just one that wasn’t earning much at all.

How to Make Money Online Without Going Broke

A roundabout in Lublin, Poland.Image via WikipediaTip of The Day to Make Money Online

I am sure you have seen this title a thousand times or more but I would still like to share the fact that you can learn how to make money online in just minutes.

I will explain what I did to start making money online and you have the choice to take it or leave it. You can even use the comments below to add your 2 cents worth if you think it will help my readers earn more.

I am not going to bother telling you what didn’t work for me in the first two years online as that would be a waste of your time and would only show you how thick I can be at times.

Instead I will point out what I have done over the past year that has made all the difference in my bottomline.

How I make money online:

First I created a blog about something I love to do and talk about all the time. Well I have had people tell me that doesn’t work. I disagree.

The first thing I learned about blogging about hobbies or interests is that these hobbies need to be hobbies that you yourself spend money on.

For me the previous step was key as I had already tried a blog and a web site on an interest that I never spend money on. I told you I could be thick sometimes.

Next you need traffic

There are so many sources of traffic online and of course a lot of them are somewhat useless so you need to get the right traffic for your sites.

My best traffic comes from the organic listing on search engines but I don’t stop with that traffic as there are so many other ways to get traffic.

Example: I create a blog about fly fishing and I write posts about my experiences but I also like to write about the equipment I use and the artificial flies I use. What did I do?

I went to TrafficSwarm and setup a little ad pointing to my artificial flies section on one of my fishing blogs, which points to eBay pages that I don’t even own but because I use BANS software on some of my sites eBay splits the revenue they earn from the seller.

TrafficSwarm works great for things like that but that’s only one source of traffic and it needs a lot of traffic to make it work. I don’t mind paying for the traffic as I always earn more than I invest doing this.

You can also use USFreeAds.com to place ads pointing to your products, again this is a free source of traffic but of course you can pay to get more exposure. You just have to try that and see if you earn more than you pay and if so keep on keeping on.

It took a while to build consistant traffic to the blog I am referring to but I was still making money before the organic search results started earning me more money.

FlickrImage via WikipediaWhat is Flickr?

I write a lot of posts in during my work week and images have become a big part of what attracts others long enough to start reading the post. Each time I create a blog I will want to be able to upload images for my posts so it is only going to get tougher keeping up with all those images.

Also I am sure you have hear that a picture is worth a thousand words. They can get your visitors mind working before they read a single work.

So images are very important on my blogs and web sites. Getting the images into the post can be tough at times and that is where Flickr comes in as the best way to store to use images on my blog posts.

Using my Flickr.com account I can sort, search and even share my photos online and of course use them on my own sites.

Note: You do have to have a Flickr account to use images and of course you can’t have your own images up there if you don’t have an account.

BTW: You can contact the owners directly through your Flickr account so you can ask if you can use there images if you are not sure.

I am uploading images today for blogs about my hobbies like my garden sites and then I will start adding our travel images and even my fishing trip photos. Then I will be able to put them on my blogs and sites so much easier.
