As an article marketer I work from home full time now and like to publish my articles to article directories, lots of articles and lots of article directories.

I spend quick a bit of money online and I don’t mind spending it. I buy ebooks, join sites where I can learn more and buy products that make my life better but…

I love using Google as my search tool and like any other search engine I can scan through the choices and eliminate sites that don’t get my interest. But even then I still come up with sites that use popups but because I found them in a search engine I can just close off the popup and page, return to Google and move on to the next site, never to return to the previous site.

If I were to use popups I think I would at least give my visitor an opportunity to read the page they landed on without popping up in their face. Instead I would let them read the page and when they decide to leave, well then I guess I could use a popup as they were leaving anyways.
