How To Use PLR Ebooks To Make More Money

For the Love of Money!

Today there are so many ways to earn a living online. Google Adsense or Adsense alternatives works great for those that spend time creating content. Affiliate marketing works great for me too. I just write good content and point to affiliate pages. But I can’t always come up with new and fresh content, because I tend to try to do too much. That is where my secret weapon for making money online comes in. What’s that secret weapon? Private Label Rights content.

Private Label Rights Ebooks

Private label rights products are products that the author gives or sells to other with full permission to use and rework to their hearts content. Note: It is best to write your PLR content so that it becomes somewhat unique which will perform 100 times better in search engines.

Private Label Rights (PLR) ebooks can be found on pretty much any niche or topic you’re interested in.

I can’t say enough great things about private label rights, the opportunity is so great because most people won’t modify the content so it makes it so much easier for me to rank for the content.

PLR is usually cheaper than other content because it’s going to get passed around so much but like I said if you re-work the content they can be gold.

A few methods for making money with PLR ebooks:

1. Like A Cold, Just Give It Away

Make something that is viral that you can just give away. Let me give you an example that works for me.

I can’t remember now if I bought the PLR product or if it just came with something else, but I received a fly fishing PLR ebook that was about 80 pages of content. Not sure if I could have created this from scratch. I tend to rewrite things to death and never would have gotten to 80 pages of great content so I would still be trying to get it done.

I modified one paragraph at a time and took my time to do it. I didn’t rush as I have found that I can get overwhelmed and give up on things. Just a little a day and in no time I was done. Okay it took me about a week but that’s a lot better than never writing it at all.

I added links and images that lead my readers to affiliate product pages and of course my fishing related blogs. Then I just give it away from my fishing blogs. It’s full of great content that helps the read and it’s free, plus inside I tell them to just give it away if they like it.

I make money just spreading the word.

I like Nicole Dean’s PLR for some of my niches. Nicole has a lot of great PLR but she doesn’t cover as many niches as PLR Pro does, so I would check out both for your needs. And one more PLR site that is very useful, Private Label Rights from Gabor Olah

Note: Don’t look at PLR content as being able to be rewritten just one time. Get out a thesaurus and start looking up synonyms and you can rewrite content a few more times without creating duplicate content. I like doing this for blogs I have that are in the same niche. I can put up content that’s similar and helpful but NOT duplicate content.

I like to take PLR articles that are focused on the same niche and put them together into an ebooks. In no time I have another ebooks that I can give away, just like my fishing ebook.

Remember that offering things for free attracts people. So offering free ebooks is a great way to increase your web site traffic which can in turn convert to more income.

I know some people who just make a slight change to the first and last sentence of PLR and personally I don’t think that’s going to work well. My personal feelings on modifying PLR is to rewrite no less than 30% of the content. Any less than that is just lazy and it’s going to take more than that to get the job done right.

I can’t tell you how many articles I have submitted over the years marketing online but once you have experienced how time consuming it can by you will be looking for an automation method like an article submitter can do it.

Manual submissions means forms to be filled in and then there is the approval system which doesn’t always work right.

I have had times when I found an error in an already published article that I needed to fix. Once fixed I had to re-submit it and then they were rejected because the system compares it to existing articles but they don’t ignore the article that you are changing so it appears as duplicate content. A no win situation there.

Not all marketers have the money to buy a good article submitter, personally I started my online business after quitting my day job and had no money to jump start my marketing.

As business expands, you will find it more and more difficult to handle everything manually, and you’ll decide to make the investment. How can an automatic article submitter help? First of all, it deals with the problem of data entry. It saves your personal data or login info and fills it in all the documents required by article directories.

The submission is totally automatic and the article submitter reaches over 500 article directories uploading content in just a few hours. You just need to select the directories where you want to submit articles to, and the software will do the rest. Yet, the creation of the accounts will still take a little while. That is the first stage necessary for the submission. Once you complete this process, things get a lot easier.

You can call it a business progress if you get an article submitter because you can also get access to a growing number of directories. New directories appear every day, and it is impossible to monitor them all. Updates in the list of directories are automatically made by the software, but you decide whether to create the accounts or not. The more web visitors get to read your articles, the bigger the chances to improve web site traffic.

It may be difficult to identify the right article submitter to buy, but there is plenty of information available on the Internet. Demo versions of software tools, technical features and product reviews could convince you in favor of one product or another. No safe investment is possible unless you take an informed decision. In the first stages of article marketing a free demo software could be enough for your business needs.

If you want to make great money online you can do it faster with a good list of targeted prospects. Your list can be gold. Learn more about list building. Here a few things you can do that will draw in more traffic that can be turned into gold later.

Newsletter / E-zine

Having a newsletter or Ezine is a great way to grow your email list by giving them value-added content directly in their email box. Of course your newsletter will have valuable offers that will make you money as long as you don’t abuse your readers.

The more you can offer people these days, that will save them time, the better chance they will sign up for your newsletter.

Offer E-Courses

A great way to get people to sign up to your news letter is to offer ecourses but you don’t need a newsletter to make this work for you. Your ecourse will have the content people are looking for and the links that will lead them to places for more info and the potential for your to earn from those links.

Write Articles

Get writing and publishing on a regular basis. Write articles and distribute them to article directories. Here’s a chance to include your newsletter sign up within the article resource box.

Offer Free Books

I like to save time and use PLR content to create useful ebooks that I can then sprinkle with relevant links and give it away from my site for my visitors email and name. A new name and potential customer for my list.

Heck they don’t even have to be large ebooks, just 10 pages or so of great content that will help your reader and perhaps lead them to something that will eventually lead to more income for you.

This is a great way to use those affiliate links.

Free Membership Site

Learn more about owning and running a free membership site. You can get a ton of email addresses doing this because people love FREE.

It should go with out saying but be sure to offer valuable content or your list will just opt-out. The time it takes to setup a free membership site is well worth it if you follow all the steps.

Create Squeeze Pages

Squeeze pages are on my list of things to do more of. A squeeze page can quickly get your visitors email and name as that’s all they can do. Nothing around to confuse them or have them click away from your page, so squeeze pages are perfect for growing that list. Well worth learning about.

Pop Up

Personally I am not into pop up windows, especially those that pop up while you are trying to read a page. I just leave, but I can tolerate the pop up that appears when you go to leave a page. With this exit pop up you have a last ditch opportunity to get their attention before they are gone forever.

Viral Selling

When you have the flu it’s viral and people you come in contact with can get the virus. We don’t really care much for viral in that case but put that same idea into a product, a report, ebook, or digital product and you can the potential to have thousands see that product.

Note: The better job you do on the content the better chance you have it going viral. Just be sure you don’t forget to put your affiliate links in their and have them cloaked of course.

Giveaway Freebies

Like I said earlier, people love FREE giveaways. I can’t tell you how many I have signed up for in the years I have been working online. GiveAways have been around now for years and it does work, but of course it’s a numbers game so you need to get a lot of signups.

They will be signing up for your newsletter of some kind of report so you want it to be valuable so they stay signup up and get your emails and promotions.

Sign Op Bonuses

I have bought a lot of products since 2001 and must say that whenever anyone offers something that is useful AND has a bonus they have my attention. Of course the bonus needs to be worth my time or you might just be wasting your own time.

Take the time to experiment with each of the above 10 simple ways to build your list and then work those that work best for you.

I think most everyone around the globe has felt the pinch from this crappy recession and if you haven’t I am sure you know some who are. Maybe it’s a blessing in disguise as it’s been a turning point in so many lives, for the better that is.

You maybe scratching your head about now wondering if I am on drugs but I’m not and what I am talking about is how people are starting online businesses to earn a little extra income. That’s all it takes to get started but it takes a little more to be successful, so read on.

Do As I Say, NOT As I Did

I jumped in with both feet and no budget because of problems at my day job. My bosses were married to each other and went through a divorce while we went through hell at work. I quit my day job and started working online.

My advice is to NOT do what I did. Plan things a bit and keep that job. You can do this on just a few dedicated hours a week as it’s mostly the time spent and not just money spent to make marketing online work.

FOOLS RUSH IN – DO NOT RUSH IN

I really only started making money once I started blogging and sharing the experience I have from my interests and hobbies. That triggered like minded people to visit me and start asking questions. Eventually I started adding affiliate links to sites that I make money through.

Once I realized I could make money from my hobbies, something I had always want to do, just didn’t expect it to be online, I went nuts with blogging about everything I loved to do. I’ll admit I went way overboard and had to pull back once I found I was working myself to death, literally and it wasn’t needed at all.

Start A List Of Loves And Interests

I’m not talking about guys and girls here, I am referring to hobbies and interest. They can be gold.

So start a list of what you like to do and what you know that others would like to know. Don’t sell yourself short like so many people I have talked to that think they have nothing to offer. That just leads to being broke and frustrated at the same time.

I personally drew a blank for days just because I didn’t feel I had anything anyone would want to know. I look back and just shake my head, but I do understand when others say the same things. I just smile and help them get the ball rolling with a list of questions that help to open their mind.

You May Have To Spend A Little To Make A Lot

I tried to make it with a zero budget after I quit my day job and it was a tough go, really tough. Once I invested a little here and there things started turning around. It started to make sense that you need to spend a little to make money faster.

I was penny pinching because I no longer had an income. I wasn’t broke but thought it best to keep what I had for other things. Wrong move on my part. I could have been making so much more, so much faster. So really it cost me more NOT to spend a little.

Like I said, I started my online business without spending a penny, other than to buy a domain and pay for hosting. I didn’t make much at all, just hit and miss.

Then I started a site and invested about $100 to get articles written for my niche and published them on EzineArticles.com. Once they were published there I changed them up a little and published them on a bunch of other article directories. That’s when my traffic picked up and I started getting some sales.

Instead of waiting for months to see if a site was going to work I saw things happening in just a few days, once those articles started getting indexed in the major search engines.

Using a bit of money to get started was the brightest move I had made since quitting my job.

I didn’t rely solely on the articles I had paid to be written. I also wrote content on my own and did it on a regular basis, about 3 posts a week seemed to work. It keeps the search engines coming back and I keep getting more keywords in Google which sends me even more traffic.

Now I use a few places to get articles written and start new sites based on my interests and I’m making more money every month.

Note: The articles that I have written work as a method for getting relevant backlinks to my sites. Bonus

One of the sites I use to get articles written for me is ArticlesZ. They are inexpensive and do the job in a good time frame. I have no complaints about these guys.

Article Marketing Key Steps:

If you are interested in getting free search engine website traffic than you need to take a look at article marketing. The key is having a solid article marketing plan. Your plan must include a set number of articles to publish per month. You must follow through and stick to your guns and make sure you publish the number articles you have set in your plan for each month.

My article marketing plan calls for to write and submit 1 article per week for my fishing site, now some weeks I write more, but never less than 1 per week. You are probably thinking why only one article a week , why write and submit dozens of articles a week? Well you need to understand you are building a foundation for your business so quality of your articles is key to building a on-line respectability. Remember your goal to be recognized as a expert in your Selected niche market.

Article marketing is not a quick hit traffic generator, This process takes time and your website traffic increases will be over time. There are some ways to jump start your efforts by automation but you need to learn the basics before using these tools. But I can guarantee this traffic will be quality targeted traffic. I have been using article marketing for about two years now and my sales have doubled.

Now let’s get to the meat of my article and look at key steps that are needed to make your article marketing efforts successful.

#1 Like I said in my opening paragraphs above you need to identify your “niche” market to be successful with your efforts. The more specific you can be with your article marketing plan the more success you will have. You will build your whole plan based on what you choose in this step, that is why I have Identified it as #1.

#2 Based on what you have chosen as your “niche market” you will now need to create a list of keywords that are associated with your selection. This list should be no less than 50 keyword phrases. These words need to be associated with the “niche” market you have chosen. {I do not recommend you start out targeting single keywords, select keyword phrases about your niche that are two and three words in length. Concentrate on using keyword phrases that are two and three words in length.} To be honest with you I have never done very well with single keywords in my articles. It has been my experience that single keywords do not score high for me on the search engines. If you have a low advertising budget, like most of us, I would like to suggest an excellent free keyword phrase generator that is offered by Google adwords. This service is free and you do not need to deposit any money. Just enter a single keyword that is specific to your niche and the Adwords system will generate a keyword phrase list of two, three and more words. Concentrate on using the two and three word phrases for your article marketing efforts.

#3 Now you are ready to start writing articles! What I do in my writing is just start writing what comes to mind that is pertinent to the niche I have selected. If you have to do any research do it before you start writing. This is also an excellent way to help with your articles structure. Start out writing by inserting your two and three word phrases as you go. One thing about keywords or phrases is that you do not want to repeat the same targeted word or phrase more than once every 100 hundred words. Take for example, if I were writing a article about article marketing and targeting the phrase “ Article Automation” and the length of my article was say 700 words, I would need to make sure this key word phrase was not used more than once every 100 words and no more then 7 times total. There are some twists you could use like mixing it up and instead of using “crappie fishing you could use “crappie angling” Its up to you. Just don’t repeat the same phrase in a 100 word count, the search engines penalize you for doing so and your article will not score well. Remember concentrate on the quality of your article when inserting keyword phrase. It’s important that you get the attention of the reader.

#4 Create a list of article directories to submit your article too. All article directories are not created equal so I suggest you use the following simple steps list the sites you want to submit to in a priority by Google ranking sequence. First thing you need to do is go to Google and type in “article directory” in the search box. The results will give you 1000’nds of sites to use in your list development. I Do suggest two very important article sites that are worth mentioning that you should put at the top of your list, and they are ezinearticles.com and Searchwarp.com. I use a free Google ranking tool that is simple to use to locate each sites ranking. Type in the following keyword phrase “website ranking tools for Google” at Google’s search box to find a free ranking tool suitable for you, or just e-mail me and I send the link I use. Just a note when developing a list use sites with rankings of 6,5,4,3 first, these sites will get you some traffic over time.

Well folks that should do it! Good luck with your article marketing efforts may success come your way!

Make Money With How To Make Money Ebooks

how-to-make-money-ebooksHow to make money ebooks, in my humble opinion, are the perfect way to learn how to make money online in just about any niche you pick because for the most part the methods for earning are the same.

I have been selling ebooks since about mid 2001 and by far the most have been how to make money ebooks. People need to learn how to make money so it makes good sense that these would be the ebooks that sell the most.

How do you make money with how to make money ebooks? Purchase a few, making sure that there is a refund possible as I have found many ebooks that just plain suck and have asked for a lot of refunds.

Now you can learn all you can from these ebooks and then write an ebooks that blends them all together making the info yours and unique. Remember that you don’t want people asking for refunds so do a great job.

It’s time consuming to write good ebooks but can be quite rewarding financially. You can also build your own work force by having others sell your ebooks for you. You make less on each ebook but remember they are the ones selling it for you.

You can also buy private lable rights products and rework them until they are uniquely yours. This method takes far less time to create and you can be selling sooner.

The Power of Resell Rights

My personal preference is to resell ebooks created by others. They did the work and because you purchased the product you know it’s worth selling or you would have requested a refund and moved on to the next ebook.

Where do I get ebooks with resell rights? I use Clickbank.

I couldn’t tell you how many ebooks I have purchased over the years but most of them came from Clickbank.

Note: I have never really enjoyed trying to find things on Clickbank but I do enjoy earning from Clickbank. Instead of using the Clickbank Marketplace to find the how to ebooks I use another tool that works great. It’s called CB Engine.

eBook Cover Design

The future of publishing nonfiction ‘How to” eBooks is at a turning point. The industry will drastically change over the next few years. This change will be brought about through the use of better niche finding tools and the ability to monetize the new mini-web site model or so called landing page.

Most of these answers can be found in the form of an ebook. If you are unsure what an ebook is, it’s a book written by somebody and is then converted into a pdf format. PDF’s are used to read ebooks from your computer.

Like a physical books, ebooks the majority of the time come with a 3d virtual book shaped cover. An ebook cover’s sole purpose is to showcase the ebook and what it’s all about. Ebook covers are also used for advertising and the promotion for the purpose of increasing the authors sales of their ebooks.

The New Paradigm

The new paradigm will open thousands of smaller keyword based markets for eBook publishers. Although these new markets will be smaller in size and not likely to produce 21 million in sales in twelve months, the smaller size will allow the publisher to “own” their keyword space; thereby avoiding the necessity to use expensive pay-per-click services. Consequently, although the total revenue from smaller markets may be less, profitability will be higher since pay-per-click programs will not be needed. In addition, the smaller size markets will necessitate additional eBooks be published to generate world class revenue growth. So, more eBooks sold into smaller markets equals’ higher profitability.

To create a world class financial performance using the old model you needed a “hit” eBook. By definition, hits have a low probability of occurring. The new approach reduces this risk by spreading out the earning potential over many eBooks which are sold into smaller markets improving the possibility of consistent and higher profitability. It is generally accepted, that relevant content on your web site combined with a good linking programs will lead to being placed on the first page of Google’ search results. This is what we mean by owning the keyword. If you can attain first page placement, no need for a pay-per-click program, since your site is already on the first page of the search results. Problem is how much content and how many links do we need to get first page placement? Tools are now available allowing us to make these types of judgment calls.

However in today’s world of technology the ebook cover designs now look more like a realistic book cover. Almost if not all graphic designers now design ebook covers using action scripts in conjunction with Photoshop.
There are now dozens of action scripts that can design covers ranging from hard and soft cover ebooks, software boxes, cd and dvd cases to even paper bags.

Before you get an graphic designer to design your cover, like with most other purchases of any kind, you should do some kind of research when choosing your graphic designer.

So why was I at this local business social event? I take my own advice. I have a vibrant social schedule that has me interacting with other business leaders as well as with my friends and family. I’m living proof that you can run a highly successful eBook business from home

You naturally want people to read your reviews and buy the product you’re recommending… but if this is your only focus, you’re doing your readers a disservice.  You see, it’s just as important to let them know which products won’t work for them as it is to introduce them to products that will.

Within the ideal affiliate marketer-list relationship, you are steering your readers through sharp and hazardous rocks… and they’re trusting you to land them safely ashore. Push your reader a little too hard, and she will climb into a life raft that isn’t the right fit for her – and when she suddenly finds herself slammed into a rock, her confidence in you is going to be shaken. She’s going to head off to the next boat, to see if it was any better than yours.

The problem here? You didn’t show her what not to buy – what wouldn’t work for her. That’s why it’s important to be completely up-front in your reviews, and include disqualifying facts and statements – even if it means one less sale.

as an example, let’s imagine you sum up a product like so…

“This product is not at all for newcomers to the game. It consistently makes assumptions that you’ll know sophisticated tracking terminology and assumes you hold a business masters’ degree. However, if you are tired of a surfeit of “newbie” help texts, this system will really give you something to sink your teeth into.”

Sure, you’ve lost the sale from your “newbie” reader that you would have had, if you’d kept quiet about the product’s complexity and extolled only its money-making potential.  But sacrificing the sale is a good investment in the long run, because you stopped your “newbie” list member from wasting her money on a system she would have ultimately abandoned in frustration. And, had that happened, you would have forfeited her trust.

This way, you “lost” one sale… but you’re one important step closer to keeping that customer for life.
