There is money in niche related lists so the idea of creating an ebook to give away in order to build your list is a smart move. Be sure you make the product you give away a worth product as you planning to sell to this list later and they need to have faith in you.

Of course to make ebook marketing work you need to have people excited about your product. A great way to do that is to allow people to add their links to an ebooks. It’s a great incentive for them to give that ebook away.

3. Ebooks can make sales and lead to backend sales.

E-books are the perfect vehicle to sell other products other than the one you originally targeted. On good example is if you are selling weight loss vitamins or programs, you can add an e-book relevant to it, and easily increase your sales. The e-book will help to give the buyer a more in depth knowledge on the particular subject.

4. Ebooks can build a reputation.

E-books are effective in building your reputation. Remember that if your e-book gets around the internet, you will become widely known as an expert in your field. They work almost exactly like well written articles.

5. Ebooks can be used to enhance affiliate programs.

Some e-books will combine very well with an affiliate program. When the affiliate marketer receives extra benefits from promoting the viral message, the affiliate makes a sale when a reader buys through a branded link. You benefit from increased traffic on your website because the affiliate is willing to promote the e-books for you. It is like getting constant visitors to your own private store.
