I was on ProBlogger the other day and Darren was talking about Amazon Carousel Ads. If he had just mentioned Amazon I may have skipped the post but Darren had a sample with his post and that caught my eye enough to read the post. So like they say, ‘a picture is worth a thousand words’, Darren’s sample is what grabbed my attention.

I immediately thought, “Finally Amazon has a cool looking ad block that I don’t mind having on my site at all”.

I have only had Amazon Carousel on my site since yesterday so I am not sure of the conversion rate at this point but my point is the appearance. I really like how attractive they look. So many ads just turn me off at first glance that I wouldn’t want them on my site.

Liking the appearance is only one factor of course but it’s important to me.

Another huge factor for me has to be how easy or tough it is to create and install ads. Amazon wins again and so does their affiliates. The carousel ads were a breeze to setup and I actually had fun doing it.

In less than an hour I had 6 of my blogs showing Amazon’s Carousel Ads.
