I have been really pissed at Article Marketing Automation and My Article Network for a long time now and decided to express my disappointment on Twitter. So I put out a Tweet on Twitter the other day say how bad the articles have become on the Article Marketing Network.

I got a lot of responses back agreeing and quite a few that thanked me for the heads up as they have been looking for places to get quality articles.

Rewriting Crap Over And Over

Articles have become poor quality as people are just rewriting the same old carp over and over. So when I click the button to say I reject an article it should stay out of my article list from that point on but it doesn’t, because the authors, if you can call them that, just rewrite and BAM it’s back in my list again, and again, and again. You get my point, right.

Non Relevant Articles

Then of course there are the dozens of articles each day that are in my categories but have nothing to do with the category. Just out-right spam which you have to reject but they of course they come back in a day or two and you have to go through all the same crap over again.

An example just from this morning: Why Should You Blog?

The articles and links are to things like ‘eye cream’, ‘maternity wear’ and ’sport watches’ all in the same damn article. That was just one article but I reject and leave angry feedback for 95% of all articles on this network but nothing changes.

Note: I don’t think they allow the stats to show any more than 95% because I have been rejecting almost 100% in the last month or two, maybe longer, but it never increases.

That was for just one of my blogs. I have about 20 blogs on the network and deal with the same crap in each niche I have.

Then when you find an article after rejecting 90% or more of the existing articles you end up with so many where the author goes on about a subject but links to pages that have absolutely nothing to do with the article or category.

Feedback Box

They have a feedback box and a junk article box but what good are they if there is no one reading them and of course no one is doing a damn thing about these spam authors. Why? Because they get paid and they just left it on auto-pilot.

Ebooks help me promote my businesses by getting my name out there and branding myself as an expert in what ever area I wrote the ebook about.

I was a computer instructor for 20 years and could write ebooks about Windows based software until the cows come home. However I don’t because I get much more enjoyment writing about fishing or gardening these days. That’s why I retired.

It’s easy to write an ebook and it doesn’t have to take a lot of time. You don’t need fillers so that you have more pages. People are still willing to pay for fewer pages as long as the info in good. I know I am.
