Blog About Your Hobbies. Making Money Online With A Fly Fishing Blog

Image via WikipediaIf you were to ask my wife and friends I am sure they would tell you I am one who enjoys his hobbies. Ask them which hobby I am most fanatical about and you will hear a unanimous fly fishing.I put a lot of energy and money into fly fishing as do all my fishing buddies so I know there is plenty of money in fly fishing. I have dreamed my whole life of making money fishing but I thought I would have to become a guide to do that, never dreamed of anything like the Internet back then.

Even though I have been fishing for 45 years and fly fishing for the past 25 years I only started making money talking about my experiences in the past year.

At the end of fishing season last year I decided to start The Joy of Fly Fishing blog and share my love of fly fishing with other like-minded people. Well it’s growing and making us money. Also, my fly fishing blog has netted me a few new fishing buddies.

One of my new fishing buddies has already taken me fishing a couple of times and we are talking about next year already. He is a perfect fishing partner because after 25 years of fishing he still gets just as excited about fishing as I do.

What I have learned in this past year is that my focus was not refined as it should be which is like leaving money on the table that could be in my bank account. So I have been spending time thinking about what I should be doing and that led me to start two more fly fishing blogs but more regional. I am also starting a new BANS sites (build a niche store) that will be a Canadian store.
