Blogging For Profits

The history of the internet is pretty cool, but this isn’t a history lesson so let’s bring it up to the time when the general population finally had access to the internet or as most know it the world wide web.
From Computer Instructor to Web Site Designer to Blogging for Profit.
I spent years teaching others to use computers and when the internet became available to me I started teaching others to use it. From there I started an online business doing web design and from there I eventually moved onto blogging for profit.
Hey, as a web designer I saw my clients making money with their web sites and thought as long as they are making money on the Web, you might as well give it a go, right.
I worked a number of different sites over the years and by far I am happier with how I make money blogging. It’s seems so much more personal through a blog.
So for me one of the best ways to make some extra cash is through blogging. You can easily make money blogging by using the following three techniques.
The Flagship Method
The flagship method is a great strategy and likely to be one of the most profitable. In this method, you develop just a few blogs and devote massive energy and effort toward making them extremely popular within their respective niches. The goal is a flagship blog with a large audience and high daily visitor counts.
Flagship blogging is popular among some because of the potential for large amounts of revenue. However, many more avoid this method because of how much effort and time are required to earn that money. They have to spend months getting little to no real income as a reward for their time.
But the payoff can be huge. This type of mega-blog can have many types of monetization options. Chief among them is direct advertising sales.
The flagship blogging method is not for everyone. You should only attempt it if you know you have the niche knowledge, networking skills and marketing know-how to make it work.
I have a couple of dozen web site going at any one time and don’t use this method on the majority of them. I am fine with a small amount of traffic as long as it generates some profit. If I see it does well I may put in more effort. I do have a couple of blogs that I am working so tha they will become a local authority site and they are actually a couple of my hobbies as well.
The Pay Per Post Method
A second popular method to make money online via blogging is the “pay per post” method. Using this method, you set up several niche blogs, either on free blog hosting sites such as Wordpress, or on your own domain. You maintain these blogs for a period of time, with your focus being on creating content and building up the sites’ Google PageRanks, Alexa Ranks, and link profiles.
You also spend time submitting each blog to several pay-to-blog sites such as Blogitive, review Me, Blogsvertise, PayperPost, Sponsored Reviews, and Loudlaunch, and then begin writing sponsored posts. These posts are another way to sell products for the sponsors without looking like an obvious advertisement.
The chief disadvantage to this method, though, is that you’ll have no passive income. Therefore in order to make money, you have to take the time – sometimes lots of time – creating numerous sponsored posts, which some people consider boring and time-consuming.
Automated Blogging
A third method of generating money from your blogging is through a technique called automated blogging. Using this method, you simply set up a blog and then run itself. Specifically, you set it up so that it’s drawing content from RSS feeds, news sources and search engines. These should ideally pertain to a focused topic. The benefit here is that there’s little up-keep required by you after the site is set up. The downside is that there’s also very little income that is normally generated – normally just a few dollars a month.
Whichever method or methods you choose, you’ll doubtless find that blogging is a fun and fulfiling way of making some extra money. Try one or two of these and watch the extra money start coming in.

I agree with you, blogging can be used for earning some money
Blogging for money can be fun … but if “fun” is all that a would be blogger for money wants, there won’t be much money, which is fine if all a blogger wants is fun and blogging as a hobby.
To earn the real dollars, which does take time and effort, a would be blogger for money should approach it as a business and apply the basics of any business. As long as someone is going to be putting in the time to write on their blogs, why not do it right and make some money.

I think the idea of blogging for money being fun is sometimes taken the wrong way. I think of making money blogging about my interests a whole lot of fun.
I can go out, have a great day on the water fishing. Perhaps I used a new lure that day and had a great day of catch and release fishing because of the lure.
I had fun, great fun and shared that experience with my fishing blog readers. Some of them decide to give the lure a try for themselves using my link. That’s fun blogging.
