Blogging With Wordpress Instead of Blogger.com
Are you ready to give blogging a try? Not sure if you want to try it on your own domain? Maybe you just want to introduce a new friend to blogging.
Then I would suggest Wordpress.com for a free blog and free blog hosting. I personal started this way to get a feel for blogging and quickly loved it and started blogging on my own domains, using WordPress from within my domain cPanel.
If you are not quite ready to commit to having your own domain and blog you should give Wordpress.com a try. You can view a couple of very helpful videos I found on BlogBloke.com
View Chris Abraham’s Wordpress Introduction Part One, a powerful 45 minute video leading you through creating and setting up a Wordpress blog on Wordpress.com
If you are looking for a little more advanced help with Wordpress.com blogging then you want to view the second video Chris creating on Wordpress.com blogs.
Once you see the power and ease of use you may just want to move to your own domain and install a wordpress blog from within Fantastico in your cPanel. Enjoy and thanks BlogBloke and Chris.

Welcome to my blog Tom.
Glad to hear you have made the move. I was never completely comfortable having a blogger.com blog myself.
