Our world today is going through some tough economic times and so many people are unemployed and looking for ways to make money, enough to even make ends meet.

Our son just went through months without work. Fortunately for him he was able to move back home with us. Unfortunately this isn’t an option a lot of unemployed people have.

I never experienced this when I was in the work force and only even was without a job by choice. So for me it’s tough to think about being in a position like that. But what I do for a living today, working from my home may be able to help you.

Her ebook is called the Super Affiliate Handbook and is worth it’s weight in gold but you won’t need to pay a small fortune though as I bought my copy for just $27.

Almost 100% of my sites are blogs as they are easy to maintain and search engines love them because they are updated so often. I have one for each of my hobbies so that I get very specific traffic, for free from the major search engines. It all starts with learning how first.

It was so cool to work from home and make better money than I was at my day job as a computer instructor.

Back then web design really was a quick way to make lots of money, if you had a bit of HTML know-how, which I did.

Web design started our great but after 3 years I had taken on way too many clients and found I no longer had any time for family and friends. Then in February 2004, Friday 13th actually, I had my first heart attack, mostly stress related.

Something had to change if I was going to survive this one.

Well a week in hospital lying flat on my back, hooked up to monitors with wires stuck all over my body, gave me lots of time to think about my future, if I even had one.

Before I went back home I made the decision to give up most of my web design clients and start looking for another way to make money online. A way that I could spend less time working with less stress as well.

I had already heard about the Clickbank Marketplace but was too busy to bother with it. Not now though so I took at look at it and quickly saw that it was a definite opportunity. I could even make commissions of 50 to 75 percent.

Promoting Clickbank products looked like something I would be able to handle in my current state of health so I started the process which began with getting a new domain to promote and sell ebooks from.

Step 1. Purchased A Keyword Rich Domain

So my first step was to purchase a new domain, one that was keyword focused for SEO purposes. I thought something like ebooks with resell rights would be great so I checked out GoDaddy.com to see if my desired keyword phrase was available as a DOTCOM domain.

It wasn’t but I was determined. I had heard about using hyphens in domains so I tried putting a hyphen between each word. It was available so I purchased it and moved on to the next step which was web hosting.

Step 2. Get HostGator’s Affordable Hosting

I’m not sure what the hosting company was called but I soon discovered it sucked and today I use HostGator.com to host the majority of my domains.

With HostGator I can host multiple domains on one account for one low monthly fee and my remaining web design clients actually pay for my hosting.

Step 3. Promote Ebooks With Resell Rights

Once I had my domain and it was setup on my hosting account I started focusing on Clickbank products to promote from my new site.

Clickbank Profits In Your Spare Time

When promoting ebooks with resell rights you can do a couple of things.

1. You could purchase each product you are interested in promoting. It’s my preferred method because I get a much better understanding of the product, however…
2. If purchasing products aren’t in your budget yet then you could use search engines to find existing reviews, read each and every one of them to gain an understanding of the product and then write your own review based on the others with actually using their words.

The fact is when you purchase a product from the Clickbank Marketplace you have a guaranteed refund if you need it. I believe it’s 60 days now and this is great.

Why is it so great to be able to get a refund? Well you can purchase the product and learn all about it so that you have first hand info about the product, right? But what attracts me to Clickbank is the fact I can get my money back if I find the product sucks.

The fact I can get a refund means I don’t waste my money. If the product sucks or just doesn’t meet my expectations I can request and get a refund, within the given time of course.

I can then spend that money again on a different product, until I find the product that fits me.

Over the years I have read many ebooks, in a number of niches, and can tell you that the quality can be great or very poor, but for sure they are not all equal quality. Most of the ebooks were great but just enough were not that I quickly learned the horror of refund requests. I should add that I am not talking about Clickbank.

Some were so poorly written I couldn’t make it far into the ebook before giving up. Others authors just didn’t provide the info they claimed to have included. This leads me to my first reason for using Clickbank to purchase your ebooks.

Reason #1 For Being A Clickbank Affiliate
Faith That You Will Get Your Money Back From Clickbank

An example of how tough some can make it to get a refund and I’m not talking about Clickbank here.

I won’t mention this morons name but it seemed like he had a great ebook, according to the hype on his website. He also had it written right on his website that he guaranteed my money back if I wasn’t satisfied.

Not sure what this guy was thinking, perhaps he never dreamed anyone would not find his info useful. He definitely was taken back when I made a request and refused saying he didn’t offer refunds.

Even after saying he didn’t offer a refund he still left the text on his site. Idiot. Paypal just told him his account would be closed if he didn’t pay up.

Immediately after he submitted my refund he emailed me and told me never to purchase from him again. Again, Idiot.

Since joining Clickbank I have never, not once, ever had a problem getting a refund.

That’s a great reason to become a  Clickbank member.

As the page rises in the serps and I get targeted traffic who are looking for the specific style of ebook they buy it and I am paid a commission on every sale. There are currently many different ebook formats from which to choose. As the ebook industry develops, the amount of formats will probably decrease, as some become standard and others fall away. We’ve already seen this happen to some extent with older e-readers being discontinued and their ebook formats disappearing with them.

There are other formats that can usually be read by e-reader devices, such as .txt and Word files, but I don’t really consider those to be actual ebooks. It’s nice that e-reader devices can display those types of files but they’re really just general text files that you use on your computer.

The best way to choose the format that’s best for you is to make your decision based on what kind of computer or e-reading device you’ll be using. Here is list to get you started:

You should always check the tech specs for your particular device to verify the ebook formats that it can use. It also very important to check the software requirements for any ebook before you purchase it. Many people purchase ebooks that are not right for their e-reading device because they failed to check the requirements before placing the order.

You can find some useful ebook format comparison charts online. For example, eBookMall.com has a useful comparison chart that shows many devices, the best ebook format for each, and some tech specs like size and weight. Also, there is a huge chart on Wikipedia that shows a comparison of devices and their supported formats. Google phrases like “ebook device comparison chart” to find these.

I used to recommend that people consider whether they need to print the ebook when choosing a format, but so few ebooks are printable now that it’s almost becoming a non-issue. Your best choice for printable ebooks is PDF, but many (if not most) book publishers disable the printing function on their PDF files because they are concerned about copyright protection. In general, if you need a book on paper, it’s best to just buy the paperback.

The formats listed above are the most common that I’ve seen. If you have an e-reader that reads a different ebook format, refer to the documentation that came with it to make the best ebook format choice.
