How do you go about getting the targeted traffic to your webpages to make money online? Me, I personally use a lot of different ways but one method that has worked for years and continues to work is unique article submissions.

Step One: Before the Article Submission Site

Affiliate linking is a great way to make money online but you may find that your links to those affiliate sites is not allowed on all article submission sites so first things first.

It’s extremely important to have your article point to something relevant if you want the search engines to pick it for the right reasons. To accomplish this first task I create a post or article for the blog I am focusing on at the moment.

My keyword choice is most important as it is also going to be the focus of the article I will write and then spin for the article submission sites.

My blogs get visited by the search engines spiders almost every day, so once the post I created is indexed by Google, I don’t care so much about the other search engines at this point, I move onto getting the new article I wrote publishing in the best article submission sites, or directories.

Step Two: Spinning Articles For Article Submission Sites

In the past I used to create one article and then spread it around the article submission sites but as time pass I realized I could do much better if I were to spin that article into multiple UNIQUE articles so they would pass the search engine duplication algorithm.

Even though there are hundreds if not thousands of article submission sites I only use a few.

My Favorite Article Submission Site

EzineArticles.com is my favorite article directory and has been for a few years now.

NOTE: eZineArticles only accepts unique content. I found this out the hard way.

A couple of years ago I create an article, submitted it to eZineArticles and it was accepted. Earlier this year I felt the need to modify that article but once I did it was considered duplicate content, even though it was not originally, and therefore it was rejected.

What happened was… After publishing that article and it was excepted I added it to a number of other article submission sites. It was no longer unique but my copy on eZineArticles was, until I updated it and the date on the first changed. So be careful.

If you plan to use the same article in more than one place online be sure you submit to eZineArticles first and don’t publish that article elsewhere until it’s been accepted.

My advice is that you also rewrite your article for every place you put it, make it at the least 30% different and it should not be classified as duplicate content.
