If you are reading this post I am going to assume that you are looking for ways to make money online. You are not alone, not by a long shot, especially in today’s poor economy.

I have multiple blogs and web sites in various niches but all of them make me money, some more than others of course, but it’s all from affiliate marketing and most of that comes from ebooks sales.

Affiliate Marketing And Ebooks

If you think about it for even a minute you will find it hard to argue with affiliate marketing. Some one else creates a product and you just need to promote it effectively. So instead of burning brain cells coming up with a product you can purchase the product, or not, but you are wise to purchase it, then share with your readers what the benefits of that particular product has had for you.

I do this for my fishing and gardening sites because it’s so easy. My readers read my blogs because they are looking for something and if I provide the answers or can point them to the answers I get a couple of things.

  1. I get a reader that will most likely return because I pointed them in the right direction or provided them with product information that answered their questions about a product.
  2. I make money online which is my goal and most likely yours as well.

I have found ebooks to be one of the best things to promote and make money promoting because so many people these days are looking for a way out of the stress that comes from living in a recession. Job security isn’t what it used to be.

It Helps To Stay Focused

When it comes to affiliate marketing I like to stay within my niche to keep focused for better search engine organinc results. It also helps when people want to advertise on my sites because their is no guessing what my sites are about.

Okay, I learned that the hard way by watching my traffic drop drastically as I started straying from the main topic. That also affected my income which really got my attention. Stay on topic.

If you find yourself thinking about other things to publish think about starting another affiliate web site rather than water down your existing one with non relevant content. You will thank me for it.

Promote Ebooks That Do What They Claim

I said earlier that you should buy the ebook first so that you know the content. That way you can be the one to ask for a refund instead of promoting it and having your readers asking for the refund. Promote excellent products.
