New Year's Eve fireworks in IndiaImage via WikipediaWell I survived New Years Eve although I didn’t do much New Years Day other than sleep and lay on the couch trying to get my head from hurting.

I haven’t had a hang over in the 26 years my wife and I have been married. Also this was the first time Jenny stayed out until midnight with me. It was a blast and worth the pain.

I made absolutely no resolutions because in my books that’s just setting yourself up for a fall. Instead I made changes in my life when I come to the point where I agree something needs changing but I won’t wait until new years and I won’t jut make something up so I can have a resolution.

However I have been planning some changes to my online business that will be implemented over then next few months.

I have a few blogs that have started to earn a bit and I have a few blogs that just haven’t accomplished anything. My goal which is really only a logical step is to work those up and coming blogs, perhaps re-work or drop the blogs that aren’t doing it for me and even add a few more to replace those I drop.

I seem to really only make money on the those topics that involve my hobbies or special interests. Fortunately I only have hobbies that I spend money on. My wife wishes I would, just once, find a hobby that doesn’t cost us money.

I am also trying a ‘new to me’ strategy that I am not ready to talk about yet. I need to give this a couple of months so I can see if it works for me as the claims say it will. If it works I will share it with you sometime in March 2009.

I would like to be a little more entrepreneurial in 2009 and focus more on build a few of my blogs into knowledge networks for the niche they are in.

Also this particular web site is going to go through a few changes that will perhaps help me to start earning a bit of income. To this point I have used this site to share what I learn but I think it’s time to start doing more product and service reviews that will benefit my readers.

All in all I am looking forward to 2009, my wife is even looking forward to it creating her first blog.

I wish you personally the best in 2009.
