Customers are also allowed to download and go through the first few pages of the books for free. If you decide to buy it, you can then proceed to purchase and download it with a single click directly on your Kindle. The Kindle is a compact paperback-sized reader and you can carry a library of books around with it but still travel light.

Additionally, Whispernet leverages on Amazon’s optimized technology plus Sprint’s national high-speed (EVDO) data network for its users to wirelessly search, discover, download, and read content on the spot. The original Kindle Portable eBook Reader is succeeded by an improved edition called Kindle 2. It retains a great deal of the winning features but minus the rough edges of the maiden version.
