Do you need a good education to teach people? No you don’t I am a great example for this. I quit school with only a grade nine education and ran away from home to move to Toronto to become a street kid.

Without an education I was very limited in the employment I had but I was never out of work because I was always willing to be the best working an employeer could have. I never used resumes either. Of course all my jobs were hard labor jobs that didn’t pay well but they put food on the table.

I came to New Brunswick, where I live now, to visit relatives and loved it, so I stayed.

I got a job pumping gas for Sears and while I was there I used to play on the computers in the sound department. Eventually I got good enough on them that people were asking me questions and one person even hired me. I then became a computer instructor, which became my career for the next 20 years.

Can you make money online sharing knowledge about your hobbies? Oh yes you can!!

For me computers became a hobby and I learned more and more because it was a passion. The same with other hobbies I have. I am very passionate about my hobbies.

Do you know more about your hobbies and interests than a beginner? Then it’s time to either put that knowledge into digital format as an ebook or it’s time you studied up on your hobbies and interests.

You don’t have to have 100 pages in your ebook to make money. Heck I have purchased many ebooks that are only 10 or so pages and they have been well worth the money. The secret to a small ebook is to have great content. You don’t need all the fillers like those 50 page ebooks have.

Get a hold of some old “For Dummies” books and look at their layout or their table of contents and you will have a great idea of how to approach your own creation.

I would much rather read a 10 page ebook than the same one with 50 pages of filler. Get to the point and give your readers what they want and you can make money online selling or giving away ebooks.

You maybe wondering how to make money online giving your ebooks away. Well it comes down to what’s in your ebook. The secret to making money online giving your product away is to have links in your ebook that lead readers to other places your make money online.

So take some time to sit down and write down all your hobbies and interests along with skills you have that others would like to have as well.

When I am teaching someone how to fly fish I could record that as a video which could be added value for you ebook, people love videos. Well all the stuff in that video can be written out and guess what? You have just created your first ebook.

The same thing works for lots of things. Have a passion for gardening? Well get a video recording going and video yourself while you work in the yard. Then watch the video and explain what you are doing, BAM, another ebook. And the video is of course valuable so don’t delete it, add it to the ebook or link to your site where they can watch the video. More traffic, right?
