Your Real Name When Leaving Comments.

In the past I gave using keywords in the name field while commenting on blogs, instead of using my actual name. I didn’t really like doing it but it seemed like a good way to optimize a comment linked to my own sites.

Eventually I just stopped keywording the name field and now I use my real name and feel much better, plus I get more feedback from blog owners when I use my real name than I did using keywords.

Leave Real Value Added Comments. First off, if you leave a crappy comment it just gets deleted or marked as spam, so don’t waste our time.

Writing a comment that adds value to the post is benefiting the blog owner who will appreciate it and may even visit your site as a result along with others that visit that post and read the comments.

Lately I have been getting comments that stroke the ego but really say nothing that would add value to the article or post but I was roped in to accepting spam comments because of my ego. Once I realized I was being conned I smarten up and now if they are just stroking my ego the comment gets deleted.

These spammers can do such a good job at saying nothing and making you feel good while they do it that I have even responded positively to their comment, only to realize later than they were probably laughing at me.

I may end up with no comments from here on in but if that happens I will just have to work harder at creating more compelling content.
